Lincoln Park
I arrived back in Tokyo a couple hours ago. I haven't had my camera out yet, so you get more photos from Lincoln Park in Chicago. I realize though what a wonderful thing the camera is, and that I could not live without it in Tokyo. From the moment I stepped off the train in Nippori, I was overwhelmed by a feeling of detest for the city. If I didn't have a camera, which gives me a creative way to deal with this helish place, I don't know how much longer I could live here.

Know exactly how you feel. Tokyo can really drive the heart out of you... the city just has no sense of joy or ambition toward love of life. And, mind you, I've lived here (Tokyo) altogether 17 years. Though, the funny thing is, I loved it when I was a boy... Japan has really changed since then, though. I've got to get out of here soon. It's killing something inside me.

Please note that I didn't mean anything against Tokyo exactly, i'd feel the same way in New York too.
It's just the crowds and the lack of anything really "alive".
Although, if I lived out in the country, I wonder if I would get bored now that I have a camera. Would I run out of things to take photos of?

I find that I was aggressively taking pictures when I first moved to Miami, but the desire has gone away now that I've been here for 5 years. I'm just pretty much left with my anger over what the development has done to the environment here.
Not much else to say really other than that I love the goldfish picture.

Hi,
Of course, stagnation develops wherever one roots....
Stagnatin' here, that's for sure. Really love your photo's though. You have such talent and skill. To be technically minded too....
Respect! One love sister!
