well, its June 6th Sunday... and by chance i read your blog today about your photo exhibition. i went down to the station, followed the directions according to the website, past McDonalds and near mister doghnuts but for the life of me couldnt find the venue. i really gave it a good look around but failed.

too bad... wanted to see you stuff.

These are gorgeous close-ups. Did you anything special for a lens? Also, in the second photo, did you photoshop out the background to get that nice clean black?
Beautiful shots.

~I/eye am a huge fan of super duper contrast in images, as I see here you are as well, xlnt images, I'll be back for more visual treats~

Damon, Sorry to miss you. I don't know that I could explain it any better than the map on the site or I would have tried. The photos are still there until Saturday if you ever happen to "find" it.

Dave, I have the cheapest lense I could find, which was a mistake. At the time I didn't know what the differences between lenses was, but now I am finding out some things, both technical and practical. One big gripe I have is my lense (a sigma) has a greenish tint to it, so I have to adjust it in Photoshop every time.

In the second photo I did use Photoshop (I do on all of them) I think the background was pretty much dark anyway though. I didn't do anything special to get that effect.

Btezra, I'll keep you in mind as I go crazy with the contrast.
