Sunset Reruns

These are photos that have been on the site before, but I just pulled them out of retirement for the photofriday Sunset theme this week.

Those are really beautiful pictures.. I want to see the tanbo, they are great photo material!

lovely, lovely color.

great series, i especially like the natural lines in the first one!

Your photos are breathtaking!!!

definitely noteworthy pictures! i am finding it extremely difficult to choose my favourite between the first two. the bottom half of the first picture is what makes it so amazing, and that's what really stands out, but i think overall, as a whole, i like the second one best. especially the sign in chinese there, or jap... seems almost surreal. like i'm a traveller whose travelled so many miles, a long long distance, and then suddenly i see this sun and this sky and it's breathtaking.

oh wow. this is by far the longest comment i've ever typed out. haha.

Thanks everyone.

For the record, the second photo is not China-town. I live in Tokyo, and that's just the neighborhood noodle shop. It's Japanese writing.

The second photo is my favorite to. I relly like the top one, but it looks a little too expected. I had that one printed before, and when i put it in a frame it looked like it might have been the photo that was in the frame when I bought it. Since then I have started to feel that it lacks character. But I still like it obviously, or I wouldn't have put it up here.

The first photo is from a bike trip around Lake Biwa in Shiga prefecture last year.
