These photos remind me of my surroundings here in southeastern Hokkaido. It's weird how countryside and farms in places so different can look so similar.
Here's to wide open spaces with skies of blue, man. Sorry I haven't been in contact much since our baby was born. Elbow deep in diapers and all that. Have you put down the Lumix and picked up a Lomo, or is that vigneting a digital filter?
No Lomo, but I have a Nikon D-70 (although I was using the Lumix again the other day and wonder what is so great about the D-70). The vigneting is partial digital filter, and partially what happens with my wide angle lens.

The great thing about them is that they look nothing like the farms in Tokyo.
