I Live Here

In case you were wondering why I was so depressed about not having my kayak for the past month... look at where I live !!

I took the kayak out today right after class, paddled for a couple hours, stopped on a deserted island, studied for a test tomorrow until the the sun began to set, then hopped in the kayak to paddle home. Imagine if I would have been able to do that every day for the past month...

Wow- you have more kouyou there than we have in Tokyo. I went to Okutama on the weekend, no sign of any colour. Still a bit early here.
Great pics.

Unfortunatly, it's on its way out. I think in a week it will just be bare trees against a grey sky with cold wind and only a few hours of sunlight.

Stop trying to make me even more discontented you bastish!

This is far beyond what I imagined your life will be in Sweden even after discounting the part you may have adjusted the color and stuff. You did the right thing.

Nothing to do with the pictures. I spoke with mom and our birds seem to be doing pretty fine. She said they love to sit nearby a window in the bathroom where they can look out and enjoy sunshine. Also, their voice echoes. Smart babies.

I really like the warm tone you use in your nature photos. Very impressive shots. Cheers.
