Kevin Cameron: Photojournalist

Nothing to say. I'm just trying to move some photos of the to-post list.

Although I could take this opportunity to brag that I am now a photojournalst. Two of my photos have been published on the cover of the Blekinge Lans Tidning (the Blekinge Times Newspaper). Sure, it was the back cover, i.e. the last page, but still... I'm now famous here.

The story was about out class litter-picker-upper and commemorative tree planting.

I like both photos, particularly the car: the emotional contrast between the deep, soft green of the grass and the abandoned, aging car, which is slowly being integrated into the landscape. Great psychological depth. I also like the way the rubber of the tires disappears into the shadow, making the car seem to float.

Wow, do you have the copy of BLT??? Am I on the newspaper??? I'd like to have a look!!
