Here it comes
My Outdoor/Environmental Education career just got a big boost. My photo is on the OutwardBound Japan blog. Now I just have to sit back and wait for the job offers (and the mountains of cash) to come rolling in.
All the recent photos have been from a five day trip to Yatsugatake. With this year's weather there was was less snow than usual and less wind than usual. This means less "challenge" and excitement, but on the other hand, the days we were walking the ridge were clearer than I ever expect to see. We could see forever.

These photos have pretty much convinced me to do some winter mountaineering next year. I've already missed by window for this year, unfortunately... conditions generally aren't suitable for climbing in March and April here in Colorado.

Gald you like the photos. The views were spectacular, but winter mountaineering is not my favorite... too much gear, no real "relax" time - if you stop moving you freeze - and taking photos is a pain in the ass because of the gloves.

Thanks Jon. The fact that I could keep someone not related to me coming back for years feels almost as good as hearing that my photos are getting "better and better". :)
