Well, I had big plans and lots to do tonight. I was going to get this site one step closer to the time when I never have to touch it except to input a post... but then I found Survivor videos in my mailbox. I guess I wont be working on the site for a while.
Although... I did get a chance to make it a little better looking in a Mozilla / Netscape browser. I was going to fix it for netscape 4 also, but then I decided it is not worth my time to fix it for a piece of crap like that. If you are reading this with a netscape 4 browser, it must look like crap.
I did get a chance to go running last night for about an hour, mainly becasue I was stressed and couldnt sleep so I decided to jog to get tired... instead I just got a terrible sore throat and cold.
Following up on the priorities topic... Although that was about a trivial topic like vacuming my apartment, I really do wonder what should I be putting priority on now in my life. Should I spend so much time concentrating on work. The main goal is to "get excellent" at something. One way is definatly to work hard at it in my job, but when I spend the weekend doing that, I am sacrificing time that could be used for my own endevors. Even though many of them would be very similar to my work, should i focus on them more? But if I do, I am sacrificing what I could gain from getting that little bit extra out of a project I am working on for the company... that little bit extra could mean a whole lot in terms of reputation and gained skills... and even more important, am I sacrificing a life? Am I sacrificing the chance to do things I like like Kayak and camp and play guitar?
A friend was shoked to hear that I thought about work alot while we were hiking. He never thought about it once he says. Is that normal, am I too much of a freak when it comes to that?
ohhh.... Just had a little earth quake....
Jon Southwell (from semthe high school where I once had a record with Jon in some obscure relay race that only happens once every so many years in a little known invitational) is coming to Tokyo for the Holiday, so I guess I wont be going Kayaking, unless he remembers to pack one. He mentioned climbing Fuji, but I have only heard terrible things about it, so I pass.
The new contact form can be used to send comments about anything so you dont have to open your email, unless you want a record of the mail you sent. Once the form disapears from the top page (after a week) there will always be link on the page somewhere
