Just one of the joys of living with Awii and Klee.
uhhh.....
ouch! i bet that stings
I really was considering getting a budgie myself. A colleague describes its antics, and the lack of any other pets, kids, or animate distractions really endeared the idea to me.
My wife is't too keen, and your photo has just delayed my decision for at least another millenia.
Thanks Kevin!
Yuck.
There's a bug fix for that, though; run a Google search for "cage".
On a side note: Klee is getting a museum.
Rastafarout:
I highly recomend a budgie. They are really amazing, and have mor personality than some other pets (cats and tropical fish).
For real thuogh, you could mistake them for people sometimes. The other night I went out with someone and their 9month old baby. The biggest difference between the baby and my birds seemed to be that the baby has less coordination.
You should check out the story about the Green Parrot I wrote about a few weeks ago.
As for the poop in the eye, Rudolf is right, you can always get a cage. But I only recommend the cage for their own saftey, and it should be huge. IT should not be used to keep them out of your way. They are inteliigent animals with feelings and a desire to play and be with people too.
And although they poop in our eye sometimes, it is a good feeling. It just makes them that much more loveable.
When I saw this excessively prideful look, I thought there could be a power struggle in your home in the future. Was he the culprit?
The scary thing is that we don't know who the culprit was. It seems to have flown across the room and landed there. When we looked at the birds, they both pretended that it wasn't them.
